Newport Harbor Pizza Paddle - May Bonus Edition With Added Rain

This is another of the semi monthly weeknight Newport Harbor Pizza Paddles.
As the day approached the weather looked...interesting. We'd had a few sprinkles while out on the harbor before but here it was looking like sustained rain and wind. Fun!

We had 4 last minute drops as a result but the remainder of us all headed for the beach at 6:30 pm.
We had someone rent a boat this time. $40 at Sports Chalet gets you a single or a tandem for 3 days the only thing you need then is the ability to transport it.
The weather held the entire way to Pizza Nova.
At some point we looked out the window and noticed it was pouring.
The rain died out by the time we circled around Lido but started up again when we were cleaning up the boats.
